Academy Apartments

Made for me to have a go-to setting, Academy Apartments is an urban fantasy thing focused on the residents of a small apartment complex and all attending the same university. Basically a slice of life but also there's vampires and werewolves and Mira (I like Mira).

Acceptance

A longform story in a modern setting where monsters and powers are introduced to it. This is an ongoing story where I plan to delve into the characters' personal issues and the mystery of what happened to the world.

I was asleep when the world ended.

Everyone in the world heard the words. Waking or sleeping, it did not matter. The phrase meant something that came to be understood quickly: if you wish to have the power that is offered to you, you have to embrace it, good and bad. There's pressure to accept, too. On the same day that the world heard The Message, the Beasts came to be: monsters that appear first in dreams before reappearing in the waking world.

Seren is at her limit.

Day 2 - Room 101 - Feb 11 26

Tin enters her room late into the afternoon after her first day of classes, finding the other four already there. Voski and Seren are together on the couch, while Aria and Mira, using Aria's appearance, are on the chairs.

A young human woman lets out a long sigh. "Hah...alright, let's do this." She looks up at the weathered building in front of her. She can't even tell how old it is, with vines and roots and moss covering what looks like the entirety of the exterior. Despite the crowded exterior, she finds the door easily and steps inside.
